The Annual Meeting agenda will be updated periodically on our website. The final agenda, with meeting room locations, will be included in your participant packet when you check in at meeting registration, which will be located in the Potomac Ballroom Foyer.
If you are planning to arrive at the Key Bridge Marriott by early Wednesday evening, January 9, please drop in between 5:00pm and 6:00 pm for light snacks, pre-registration check-in, and maybe meeting up with colleagues for dinner. Pre-meeting sessions begin at 8:00am Thursday morning, and the Annual Meeting officially opens at 9:15am with Alex’s NSF plenary session. The meeting will adjourn at 12:15pm on Friday.

The Key Bridge Marriott is easily accessible via taxi and public transportation. The Rosslyn Metro station (Blue and Orange lines) is two blocks from the hotel via the pedestrian skywalk. Climate and Attire
Temperatures for the Washington, DC, area in January typically range from 27-43° F, but we always encourage our attendees to check weather conditions before you travel. Two excellent Internet sources for current conditions and forecasts are www.weather.com and www.dcpages.com.
Business and business-casual attire are both appropriate for the meeting, and we remind you to bring what you may need to utilize the hotel’s exercise facilities or walk about town on your own.
Meals and Materials
Meals include Wednesday evening hospitality (light snacks), two continental breakfasts, lunch on Thursday and Friday, breaks, and the Thursday evening reception (heavy hors d’oeuvres). Once again, Alex Schwarzkopf advises centers to pay or reimburse the registration fees for its Directors, Evaluators and other representatives at the meeting.
Cancellation and Transferability
Cancellations must be received in writing by Friday, January 4, 2008, in order for your registration fee to be refunded less a $25 administration fee, and all refunds will be processed after the meeting. Refunds will not be made if no written cancellation is received and you do not attend the Meeting (“no show”). Cancellation may be made to Kate Ryan by email kryan@abecker.com, or by fax 920-467-3995.
Registrations are transferable; just let us know who is replacing whom, so that the onsite materials can be as current as possible.
