Purpose
The objectives of the poster session are to enhance interactions among the EFRI grantees and to inform all interested NSF program officers about the research being funded by EFRI.
Logistics
Investigators will be able to assemble their poster boards starting at 7:30 a.m. on Wednesday, December 19, at the Registration Desk in the Auditorium Foyer outside Room C3050 (Section 3, third floor) of the Seidman Center. All posters will be on display throughout the Conference to allow NSF staff to view the posters as their schedules permit. A one-hour poster session will be held after lunch, in which each investigator is to staff her or his poster for a designated 30-minute period, as indicated on the meeting agenda.
Poster Format
- Use a maximum of 12 pages of 8 ½” x 11” paper, or equivalent, per poster board.
- Use clear graphics and large fonts (at least 24 pts) for text to ensure visibility.
- The poster should include project title, principal and co-principal investigators and their email addresses and universities, and NSF award number.
- Posters should address:
• research objectives and project description
• expected transformative benefits
• project management plan; and
• additional information as appropriate for the project,
including information specific to how the project will address additional criteria for the ARES or CBE themes.
Please also remember to email your research overview presentation to Kate Ryan by November 25, and bring your poster with you to the meeting. The overviews will be posted on our website for viewing prior to the meeting, and preloaded for presentation on site.
