Ann Becker and Associates, Inc. often calls upon the talents and experience of a trusted group of individuals in order to broaden the firm’s services. Associates who augment the firm’s services do so primarily in two areas: logistical support, and program design and marketing strategy. Logistical Support

Valarie Carroll
President of Organization Plus, Inc., Valarie Carroll specializes in organizational consulting, with an emphasis on event management, office and system design, and the resolution of problem projects. Whether working solo, as a member of a team, or as the team leader, she coordinates each project with an emphasis on three major components: creative thinking and problem solving, establishment of solid communication throughout the project and a high degree of detail management and control.

   
Kate Ryan
Kate Ryan, a former employee of Ann Becker and Associates, Inc., is president of Ryan Resource, Inc., a firm that specializes in the logistical aspects of meeting planning and project management for not for profit entities, including registration and on-going customer service. Ryan Resource prides itself on focusing on the details, so that the firm’s clients can focus on achieving their meeting and project goals.
 
Program Design and Marketing Strategy
 

Denis Gray
Denis Gray is Professor and coordinator of the Psychology in the Public Interest Program, Department of Psychology, North Carolina State University. For the past two decades, Dr. Gray's research has focused on science and technology policy issues, particularly the outcomes and implications of cooperative research mechanisms. He is currently principal investigator of a multi-year grant to evaluate the National Science Foundation's Industry-University Cooperative Research Centers (IUCRC) Program. He also leads a social science research effort focused on cooperative research processes for the Center for Environmentally Responsible Solvents and Processes, a NSF Science and Technology Center. He is a Faculty Fellow of the NC State Institute for Emerging Issues.

 
  Shirlee A. Hoffman
Shirlee A. Hoffman is principal of Marketscope, a full service marketing consulting, facilitating, and training firm that has worked with for profit and not for profit clients for over two decades. Marketscope currently focuses on providing strategic marketing planning and promotional strategy implementation to environmentally concerned organizations in the Chicago region as well as assisting not for profit organizations in designing their membership programs.
